There is a part of you that exists
Somewhere within
Reaching into your future
Guiding you like an internal lighthouse

You falter, you waver
You surmise over what has been and what is going to be
You move on, you fall back
You compromise, you please

And yet again, no matter how much you try to shun it away
It follows you like an undetachable radar
Guiding you, Altering your path, Leading you right..

You waver once more, you have trust issues
You are unsure of what to follow
So you go back to the well woven path again
Things feel familiar, things feel right
So you stick on awhile out of fright

Like this I will always follow my dream...

Like this I will always be strong to tackle anything that comes my way...

Like this no matter how great the temporary obstacle in my way, I will move on stronger and with the willpower that I can achieve what I set out to...

Like this I will always believe in all that is good and positive and pray that it will come my way...

Like this I will do more than speak, learn and observe more than crib...

Like this I will walk with my head held high and take every step with pride...

A wish...

Not every sunshine can make you smile
Not every moonlight can make you love!
I look up at the stars awhile…
If only I could hold’em in my glove!
I stare at the sunset…
How scenic just as the waves lick’em wet!
How I wish I was up above there
Looking down upon the world somewhere…..!
When time passes by me…
I wonder how life was meant to be…!
When life moves ahead
I wonder how the past would have been instead!
When the past just goes by
I wonder of the future with a sigh!
As the future evolves
I watch the present dissolve!
How I wish I could go back
Make a few changes here and there….
Just to see if it’ll lead somewhere

What it takes...

What it takes?
It might take a 1000 seconds to say IT,
A 1000 minutes to express IT…
Another 1000 hours to understand IT..
A 1000 days to live upto IT!
Maybe even a few years...who knows?
But to say, express, understand and truly live it now..

Is what IT takes!
Everyday I wake up and watch the sunrise
So real and yet so beautiful
Makes me wonder and mesmerize
So simple, I could take a handful!
How can it be the same everyday?
When there be 4 seasons and 12 months
Just like Autumn,Winter, March and May
It shines brighter than ever
No difference whatsoever none
As beautiful as the morning dew
I get ready to face every day new!
That’s how life’s gonna be
Taking each step as it comes by me
We hold hands and cross the river of life
Never to let go
No matter what the future strife
It’s meant to be so!
