What if,
To stand we didn't have to first fall
To walk we needn't have to before crawl
To move we didn't have to look back
What if,
We saw clearer with our eyes closed
We dug deeper within, without being forced
We heard more than what was just said
We listened to what our hearts then felt instead
What if,
Light didn't have to remind us of the dark
And darkness needn't echo thoughts of a night stark
Full never meant empty before
And empty meant not full anymore
What if,
To write, we just wrote
To think, we never thought a quote
To try, we didn't just ‘try’
To live, we did without a lie….

It would probably be a utopic world. But not sure, if we mere mortals could have valued the good fortune. For us hardships are what makes success sweet. So if everything would have been served on a platter, life would be without any challenges....pretty much mundane and monotonous at end of day!
ReplyDeleteTrue!! Maybe that's why to live a life like that could only belong to the words of a poem. Hinting more at a 6th sense in a way - What if we knew even before we saw?....:-) Just a dreary imagination...
