"....have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

What if,...

What if,
To stand we didn't have to first fall
To walk we needn't have to before crawl

To move we didn't have to look back
To understand our minds needn't have to first lack

What if,
We saw clearer with our eyes closed
We dug deeper within, without being forced

We heard more than what was just said
We listened to what our hearts then felt instead

What if,
Light didn't have to remind us of the dark
And darkness needn't echo thoughts of a night stark

Full never meant empty before
And empty meant not full anymore

What if,
To write, we just wrote
To think, we never thought a quote

To try, we didn't just ‘try’
To live, we did without a lie….

  1. It would probably be a utopic world. But not sure, if we mere mortals could have valued the good fortune. For us hardships are what makes success sweet. So if everything would have been served on a platter, life would be without any challenges....pretty much mundane and monotonous at end of day!

    1. True!! Maybe that's why to live a life like that could only belong to the words of a poem. Hinting more at a 6th sense in a way - What if we knew even before we saw?....:-) Just a dreary imagination...
