Silence...

You made me laugh, you made me cry, you taught me how to weather every storm, you stood by me when there were none, you moulded me into the person I am today, you made me discover a part of myself I never knew existed, you kept me alive and now we are hitched together for life! I owe you - Thank you 'Poetry'!!! We've come a real long way and I want to thank you for sharing this journey with me!

I hear you

Ever so often

Before I awaken

After you've slept

I sense you

As senses soften

Before I arrive

After you've left

Life

Stars shine down upon me
I close my eyes now
To dream of what was meant to be …
What my life has been and how…
I see the beauty of the shoreline..
How far and yet so near
I wish the world was mine…
Then there would be nothing to fear!
I now sail through the desert
Seemingly endless and yet so stunning
I follow the sandunes
So beautiful and yet so cunning
…And now there’s no turning back
I look ahead….
The moon hides as the sun peaks
I carry on with life’s sack…
Without an answer to what my heart seeks….
