"....have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

About Me

Two things have always intrigued me- Poetry & Nature and when the two join hands together it's Magical! One speaks for itself and the other yearns to be spoken about. Sometimes when you hold a pen in your hand, you have no clue what words to put to paper, to translate what you feel, yet other times you just blurt out the cacophony of thoughts that run through your head which at the end makes you realize how you actually feel...maybe they are just thoughts...maybe they are just the way i feel...maybe it's just me! Guess i am still figuring out the weirdness of it all....might even have an answer in a few light years time but till then this is a part of ME on a piece of e-paper!

I started writing poetry at high school but at that point it was more out of the want to have fun with rhyming sequences. Meaning followed closely after that call...! But I hardly kept an account  of anything I wrote and that fascination died a slow, steady death thereafter. Yet, years later, it all came back to me as if in a flash. The question wasn't 'Why didn't I continue?' but 'Why did I stop?' if that makes sense! Sometimes in life things, instances or people come your way when you least expect it and leave you with an unalterable realisation. It was one such experience a few years ago that rekindled my long lost passion for poetry. I've been hooked onto poetry ever since then. I evolve a little more with every poem I write. Now it's more about the meaning and less with the rhyming but there have been times when both go hand in hand just perfectly. It has now become a way of voiceless expression whenever pangs of inspiration hit hard.

And as for you, my reader, I hope some part of you does connect with my poetry and find meaning where I leave it, hidden between some lines! And if you don't, I still hope you just simply enjoy reading it..:)
